Hazrat Allama Mian Muhammad Hameeduddin Barkati (May Allah protect him), the beloved son of Sarkar Jhagvi (رحمہ اللہ), and a respected leader of Ahl-e-Sunnat, is a well-known and respected figure in the religious, spiritual, and social fields not only in Azad Kashmir but also across the Indian subcontinent. With deep wisdom, sincerity, and love for the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, he has greatly served the Muslim Ummah in education, spiritual guidance, and welfare.
He founded the great institution Barkatiya Trust during difficult times, putting complete trust in Allah. He lovingly named it “Gulshan-e-Zia” as a tribute to his spiritual guide, Sarkar Jhagvi (رحمہ اللہ). This name reflects the spiritual light and connection to his respected elder.
Because of his hard work, sincerity, and efforts to please Allah, this trust has become a wonderful center of religious, spiritual, and social service.
